Conversation with the Cast, Director and Author of Skin Deep at the Lake George Dinner Theatre

Inside Skin Deep at the Lake George Dinner Theatre

Skin Deep at the Lake George Dinner TheatreThe Lake George Dinner Theatre’s current production of Jon Lonoff’s Skin Deep is one of this summer’s biggest hits… and if you haven’t seen it, you most definitely should.

Featuring a tight-knit ensemble of four actors, who play off each other with exemplary comic timing, this charming comedy tackles serious issues such as image, beauty, weight, self-esteem and inadequacy. Heartwarming and funny, Skin Deep allows the audience to relate to these societal issues, while giving us a hearty and poignant laugh at how they’ve become ingrained in our consciousness.

We recently spoke with Author Jon Lonoff, Director Terry Rabine and actors Emily Mikesell, Stephen Pelletier, Monica Cangero and Dennis Holland about the origins of the show, its production history and the current production at the LGDT, which runs through October 29th.
